Fisher Center for Management and Technology

Fisher CIO Leadership Program

The Fisher CIO Leadership program provides programs of value for all those interested in the innovative use of Information Technology: students, faculty and c-level corporate executives – especially CIOs.

Our programs include highly relevant Executive Seminars (annually), Technology Fairs (annually), Case Competitions (annually), CIO Roundtables & Forums (monthly), and a just starting but soon to be growing series of courses on CIO Leadership.

We provide extensive opportunities for local CIOs to meet and mentor Haas students, to hire Haas students as summer interns, to participate in our research projects, and to attend (starting in 2013) UC-quality courses in IT management.

FUNDAMENTAL GOAL – We are dedicated to those who will make the future.

We believe that “IT” can be a major and enduring competitive advantage. To achieve that advantage for our student’s employers, our goal is to become the premier center in the world for the development of CIOs who will – by their efforts – re-launch and re-position the entire CIO profession.

We want to inspire those students who are interested in following in the footsteps of the Renaissance CIOs to take the same global view as they did.
